Vented Cell Battery Type
A vented cell battery uses a pressure release valve to allow the gases produced during its normal operation to vent into the atmosphere to avoid rupture of the cell case. There are many different kinds of vented cell batteries, including:
- Air Depolarized Zinc with Mercury
- Air Depolarized Zinc, Non-Toxic
- Vented Nickel Cadmium
- Nickel Iron
- Lead Acid
