Greater Sudbury Welcomes New SMART Battery Recycling Container from Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd.

Sudbury, ON – Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd has installed one of its innovative smart outdoor battery recycling containers in the York Street parking lot across from Bell Park.
The outdoor battery recycling container, designed to withstand adverse weather conditions, features advanced sensors to monitor the internal temperature and track the number of batteries inside. When full, the container automatically alerts Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd so the company can arrange for a pickup.
The outdoor battery collection container will provide Greater Sudbury residents 24/7 access to battery recycling, and encourage participation to capture household batteries, a common household waste.

The innovative design is the result of two years of development and more than 20 years of experience in battery recycling.
In late 2023, Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd acquired the assets of Raw Materials Company, a pioneer in recovering resources from end-of-life batteries in Canada. The acquisition included a Canada-wide collection network, enhanced logistics capabilities, and state-of-the-art battery processing facilities.
