Environmental Compliance Approval

The Environmental 360 Solutions (E360S) battery division is fully permitted under its Ministry of Environment - Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA), to process the following waste characteristics on site:

  • Class 8 materials
  • Class 9 materials

This includes materials that contain heavy metals requiring special handling and treatment. E360S utilizes extensive engineering controls including air treatment and state of the art personal protective equipment (PPE). This along with a carefully supervised health and safety program ensure the safety and wellbeing of all of our employees and the safety of our local community.

The E360S battery division has 35 years experience in waste management dealing specifically with the following Ministry of Labor designated substances:

  • Mercury
  • Lead

E360S' battery division is permitted by the Ministry of the Environment to process solid and liquid wastes including, all battery types, lead bearing wastes (electronics, firing range materials, scrap, wire, coatings etc.), mercury bearing wastes (fluorescent lamps, bulbs, switches, dental amalgams etc).
